Melbourne Star's LED light show will become red and gold from dusk until midnight, and will be the perfect backdrop to the celebrations taking place throughout Melbourne, including the Docklands Dragon, which returns to the city again.
The show will run from dusk until midnight. The Melbourne Star will operate as normal with the last flight departing at 9.30pm.
On Saturday 21 February, as the celebrations continue, visitors to the Melbourne Star will be able to say hello to Kitty. Hello Kitty will be meeting and greeting guests at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm on the day, and there'll be balloons and face-painting for the kids from midday until 3pm.
Take the free City Circle Tram or tram numbers 86 (via Bourke Street) or 70 (via Flinders Street) to stop D11. The Melbourne Visitor Shuttle Bus also stops at the Star.
