The Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne is kicking off its traditional lion dance from the Vic Market Place Food Court at 11am. The performance comes complete with drummers and a Happy Buddha. Follow the procession up Victoria Street to Feng Shui Cures and Crystals (141 Victoria Street, West Melbourne), and forage for Year of the Goat lucky charms. There will be giveaways after the lion dance.

You can walk to Queen Victoria Market from either Melbourne Central or Flagstaff train station. On the tram, catch numbers 19, 57 and 59 to stop 7, or the 55 to stop 9. You can also catch the Melbourne Visitor Shuttle bus.
