About The Festival
Chinese New Year is the biggest event on the Chinese calendar and this year sees the Goat come into power, bringing with it two weeks of celebration and festivities across the globe. The goat is the eighth sign of the twelve Chinese Zodiac animals and is known to be creative, dependable and intelligent, making them very charming to be with.
Like Christmas and Easter, Chinese New Year has its own traditions with each of the fifteen days of festivities having specific meaning and customs, starting with New Years Eve and culminating two weeks later with a Lantern Festival
