Dragon Parade heritage in Melbourne dates back to the early 1900s.

The Melbourne Dai Loong Association has been custodian for the Parades and upkeep of Melbourne’s processional Dragons for the past 46 years. It parades the Dragon through the streets of Melbourne and organises Chinatown’s Chinese New Year celebrations..

The Chinese Museum is a not-for-profit national institution that was established by the Chinese Australian Community in 1985.

Its roles are to document, preserve, collect and research the history and culture of Chinese and their descendants in Australia and the history of the relationships formed between Australians and China.

The Federation of Chinese Associations (FCA) is comprised of 103 member associations with 30,000 individual members.
