Welcome the Year of the Goat at Kew Junction's free Chinese New Year celebrations. Start the afternoon when the lions dance at 2.30pm. The dragon will follow at 3.30pm, making its appearance at QPO Cafe Bar Restaurant. At 4pm, traditional firecrackers will be set off to drive away any evil spirits that may be lurking so the year can get off to a prosperous and happy start.
